TBT: Holiday Cheer
"It's another Christmas holiday. It's a joyous thing. Let the angels sing... Outside it's cold but the fire's blazin' so baby let it snow." I am a walking karaoke machine and this outfit makes me want to belt out "Let It Snow" by Boyz II Men.
This layered ensemble is perfect for a holiday party! For this look I combined several of my winter favs: lace, wool, faux leather, and fur. I could live in faux leather pants in the winter. They are a stylish and chic pant you can dress up or down. This lace blouse is my FAVORITE. I snagged this blouse at H&M while celebrating my 30th birthday in Atlanta. It is apart of the Trend line which is pricier but better quality. Over the past few years if I instantly want to obtain a glamorous look, I pull out this bad boy.
One of my favorite pastimes is thrifting. While thrifting for a Halloween costume a few years ago I came across this lovely wool plaid jacket. Although the photos do not fully capture the black velvet collar; it is my favorite detail of the jacket.
Moving on to the shoes. I had been in search for a comfortable and sexy black pump. As I mentioned in my previous post, I am a sucker for an ankle strap. I originally spotted these shoes at Macy's while shopping with my girl Karla. We both oohed and awed over these shoes but both decided to leave them because of the price. They were not expensive, however, we were not sure they were worth the selling price. I can not recall the exact price but they were well over $100; probably close to $150. Fast forward a year later, during a random trip to Ross I came across these shoes for $12!! I could not believe it! $12! I have never cashed out and left a store so quickly!

FYI: If you are wondering, "Why so much H&M?" I have a ton of clothing from H&M because I worked there from 2012-2016. It was a rare occasion if I worked a shift and did not make a purchase. Don't judge me.
