This Mother's Day was bittersweet for my family as we were all missing the presence of my auntie. However, we put on our happy faces and had an amazing day!  Today was filled with love, good weather, great food, and a full-out photoshoot. Without planning, we all seemed to coordinate!

Today was my first time wearing my denim ballerina flats. I first fell in love with this trend when I saw the Miu Miu  Ballerina Lace-Up. Because I am not on a Miu Miu budget, I immediately started searching for an inspired flat. I found them at Forever 21! I love the velvet ties and they also came with gingham ties. I am far from a ballerina but these shoes definitely had me feeling like the next Misty Copeland.
