One Won 2019

We made it friends! Happy New Year! Baby, 2018 was transformational and left me EDGELESS! LOL. Every time I thought I had it under control God took the wax and yanked a patch of hair from my edges. HAHAHA!

When I looked at my best nine photos from 2019 (can be found on my instagram), six of the nine had to do with my girl Gina from Leanila Photos! You obviously see why right? These last set of photos are my favorite because they essentially capture how I like to dress in the fall/winter.

For me the fall/winter is Tomboy Season or as I like to refer to it on social media; #TomboySzn. I want to be cute, comfortable, and warm! This usually means layering, sweatshirts and pants, joggers, hoodies, sneakers, and athleisure in general.

If I haven’t told you guys already, camo is the love of my life. I own it in just about everything. Yes I already owned a pair of camo pants BUT they were not baggy and cute like this pair from Urban Outfitters. The exact style I have is sold out but you can find a similar pair here. I also really love these and thinking about purchasing them (don’t judge me!!) as well.

Normally I would wear this look with sneakers or boots but I decided to be cute for this photo shoot and rock them with these fishnet slingback perplex heels. The shoes are sexy AF and great to look at but will leave you CRYING. Wait, am I describing the shoes or my dating life?! LOL. Seriously, I loved those shoes but they hurt so bad and I tore a hole in them putting them on so they went in the trash immediately after this shoot. If you want to try your luck with them they are from Public Desire. I love Public Desire and have a few other pairs of shoes from them that worked out great! However for me, these were a no go.

I finished this look with a lace bodysuit (lingerie) from H&M and a denim jacket by Universal Thread that can be found at Target.

I never really set resolutions. However, I do usually have a mantra for the year. This year’s mantra is “Bloom Baby.” Last year I set the foundation and planted a lot of seeds that I’m looking forward to blooming. I also said I want to focus on being more present in living in the moment. What are you looking forward to in 2019? Until next time lovelies, live life fashionably!
