Who doesn’t love a great pair of jeans! I am not one to keep up with trends. I tend to wear the same pieces for years and simply switch out accessories and shoes. With that being said, it’s been a couple of years since I purchased a new pair of jeans.

If you keep up with my blog, my social media, or my life in general, you know I’m a sucker for Target! When I go into Target I am magnetically drawn into Women’s Clothing. Target recently launched two new lines; Universal Thread and Wild Fable.

I would describe Universal Thread as the “Gap” section of the Women’s Department. They have well constructed denim necessities including tops, jackets, and jeans. The top I’m wearing above can be found here. I also purchased a denim jacket that will be featured in my next blog post.

Wild Fable is a cool retro 90s inspired line geared towards tweens and young adults. However, do not let that stop you from exploring! You will automatically be thrown into a Clueless nostalgic trance. Like omg, it’s so fetch!

These Wild Fable Jeans are on trend with the cropped and frayed bottoms and zippered sides. I love them! They can be found here. Did I mention that they’re high-waisted and will hide and hold all the FLUFF and STUFF!! LOL.

If you haven’t checked out the Wild Fable line, what are you waiting for? You should be “rollin wit the homies” to Target!

I decided to pair this look with retro shades from Urban Outfitters found here, orange Aldo mules from Ross (steal!), and an orange Michael Kors cross body that was gifted to me for Christmas a few years ago,

WINE DOWN: So I’m officially caught up with Insecure. Loving this season and one of the things I love most is the ‘Wine Down” segment after the show in which they discuss the episode and the insecurities of the characters.

When I received the photos from this shoot I absolutely loved them! However, I started overly critiquing myself to the point that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share them. Telling myself, “Wow, girl you look great but you sure have put on the pounds.” “Those cakes and pies are catching up to you, lol.”

However, I had to remind myself that I’m not one to complain or find fault in things I’m not willing to change. I’m not the pity party type of girl. I am the make a change type of girl. I am the you are going to slay no matter what stage you are in type of girl.

With that being said…until next time friends, live life fashionably.
