Lucky NOT: 5 Keys to Manifestation

No I’m not lucky I’m blessed, YES! Clap for the heavy weight champ, ME! But I couldn’t do it all alone, WE! We, manifest luv!

I don’t believe in luck. I believe in prayer, manifestation, and hard work. I know the term manifestation has become really trendy lately. However, it’s simply a fancy way of saying to make things real. I became a believer of manifestation about four years ago when I started to grow deeper spiritually. Today, when I want to accomplish, achieve, or set goals I manifest using the five steps below.

  1. Write it down. This is so important! Write it down and be extremely specific and intentional. When I wanted to manifest my ideal place I wrote down where I wanted it to be, what I wanted it to include, what type of amenities I wanted, price point, etc. I was so specific and I got EVERYTHING I wanted on my list.

  2. Pray and meditate. Once I know what I want to accomplish I pray and meditate over it incessantly. Prayer and meditation are a daily routine  but when I’m in the spirit of manifestation I go hard. Sometimes I’ll even set reminders on my phone to pray at certain times. I have also fasted for things I wanted to accomplish as well. I think it’s so beneficial to have a place in your home where you can pray and meditate in peace. Whether it’s a room, corner, or closet; find your meditation haven. A friend recently surprised me with all the tools to set up an at home alter. I have never been more emotional over a gift! I’ll blog about it in a future post. So now, I have a specific small spot in my room for peace, tranquility, and meditation.

  3. Release it and believe it.  Release your desires to the higher powers in which you believe. Not only release it, but BELIEVE it will happen. It is very important to have a positive mindset and truly believe that blessings will be bestowed upon you. Believe. Affirm. Achieve.

  4. Be patient. Timing is everything! I have grown to learn that things will happen when they are supposed to and not when I want them to. Just because something doesn’t happen when we want them to certainly does not mean it will never happen. You will be so appreciative when it does manifest.

  5. Work hard and give back. I know you have heard the saying “prayer without works is dead.”  Think about it. We have to be prepared for the things we pray for. If I say I want to one day be a successful business owner. Guess what? I’m going to be educating myself about business. I am taking courses, workshops, networking, saving, etc. Overall, developing the skills and knowledge to take on that role. Most of the time, you’re not going to obtain things you’re not ready for. That can be anything from finances, career, or love. Ask yourself, if the ____ of my dreams showed up today would I realistically be prepared for it?

Lastly, give back. I am a strong believer that life is more about what you give. What do you put out into the world? Every year I set goals on what ways I want to give. No, you shouldn’t do things with a heart of receiving something back. Truly be a cheerful giver. You are what you give! How’s your energy? How do people perceive you? Are you a burden or a blessing to others?

Onto the outfit deets! If you don’t know that I love camo by now I’m assuming you’re a first time visitor so with that being said…WELCOME!

I got these camo pants close to my birthday last year. I blogged about them here. I love them because the fit is amazing. They are fitted in all the right places but also still baggy. I love the cargo style with all the pockets and the drawstrings around the ankles. My exact style is sold out but Urban Outfitters ALWAYS have camo cargo pants in store and online. Here’s a very similar version in multiple colors.

I have a book club meeting on St. Patty’s Day (today!) so I went to Five Below and found this cute tee. The bright neon green letters are very on trend and because there is no “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” wording on the tee, I can get multiple uses out of it.

This faux leather moto jacket is one of my favorites. I’ve had it for years! It’s from H&M and is actually great quality. I love this faux suede option. I have probably owned this jacket for at least 5 years and I’m JUST starting to notice minor peeling on the sleeves. I am now on the hunt for a replacement for the upcoming fall. Thinking about a genuine leather moto instead of faux.

I finished the look with this cute fanny pack (similar here) from A New Day at Target and my favorite tried and true BCBG sandals. You guys!! These sandals are starting to peel and I really feel like they’ll give out any day now. LOL. They are so comfortable and after 5 years they are still in style. Help me find a replacement!

Happy manifesting lovelies! Until next time, live life fashionably!

P.S.- Please share any of your tips for manifesting or bringing things into fruition.
