Dress For Less

GAH LEEE! I hope you guys love this photo as much as I do! This photo shoot and location was DOPE! 2 Dope. I can't believe I stumbled across this beauty. It SCREAMS photoshoot. In addition to the AMAZING murals it was only 19 minutes from home and there's beer. Lot's of Beer! Oh, and a grilled cheese food truck. Curious as to where it is? Subscribe to my newsletter. I will be dropping the deets at the end of this week!

Now onto this dress. To know me is to know that I LOVE Target! Target is every fashionista's dream store. The overwhelming feeling of joy that I receive shopping in Target is indescribable. Was that dramatic? Ok good, it was meant to be!

I snagged this dress during one of the few times I went to Target PURPOSELY (key word) looking for a dress. Why was I looking for a dress? Surprisingly, I don't have summer clothes and it's getting really hot and humid in Baltimore. I have never been into summer clothes and typically buy them sparingly. I don't like the idea of spending money on less material. Summer clothes (and shoes) are as expensive as fall/winter clothes and I don't support it. LOL.

In addition to me not being a fan of summer shopping, the few summer clothing items I have are either too small (baby girl is getting thick) or I have worn them down to defects (holes, rips, stains, etc). Needless to say, I am frugally shopping for summer clothes.

Want to know the best part about this dress, besides the color, pattern, and corset-tied waist? The price! It was $20 after a 20% discount. You can snag the dress here in marigold and navy on clearance for less than $20.

I paired the dress with white sunnies, tasseled earrings, a simple black clutch with a tasseled zipper (not shown in the above photo), and black and white sandals. Where do you go to dress for less?
