Pretty In Pink

You guys I am so proud to share these photos! This is my first shoot solo dolo with just my tripod and I. While most of you were probably enjoying hamburgers and hotdogs on the 4th of July I was in the blistering hot sun flicking it up for the blog. Talk about passion!

Between making adjustments to the camera and hopping in my car every 10 minutes to cool off and pat away the sweat, this shoot took forever! I was shooting for so long that I had acquired onlookers from the body shop next door. Special thank you to one of the techs named Shawn who came over and took a few photos for me.  I was beyond thankful. 

Lately I have been really digging pink which is surprising because I'm typically not a pink and frilly type of girl. I snagged this dress from The Loft on sale with an additional 40% off. Dresses are a staple for my work attire for the summer. I can dress for the hot and humid temperatures but also layer with a blazer for the freezing temperatures of the building. Unfortunately, this dress is sold out. However check out The Loft for cute pieces to add to your wardrobe for work. They are always having a sale and for all of my curvy girls, they recently add a plus line.

I paired the dress with tan thrifted Jeffrey Campbell sandals that I LOVED from Buffalo Exchange. Sadly, a few days later while heading to dinner with a friend, the front strap popped on the right foot. *real tears*

I recently found a fabulous pair of leopard sandals at Goodwill while thrifting for a 90s inspired outfit. I’m thinking the spirit guides knew these heels were on their way out. Lol. 

I'm pretty sure I confiscated the scarf from my mom, the sunnies are old and from Aldo, and the purse was a a Christmas gift from my cousin.
